How does FirstPick earn Money?

We are funded solely through a percentage of the revenue from joint advertising campaigns. Since our main focus is on marketing your channel to companies, our goal is to increase your earnings through placements. For a profitable collaboration, it’s important that we regularly secure fairly compensated placements for you and that you also accept some offers. This way, we can provide you with all other services without ongoing costs. Additionally, we generate revenue by consulting large companies, which makes us financially more flexible.

What are Barter Deals and how does FirstPick benefit from it?

In a barter deal, you receive a product from the client without additional payment and in return offer your reach as compensation. Since no money is exchanged, FirstPick does not earn anything from such deals. Nevertheless, it is important to us to facilitate such deals when needed—whether it's a key for the release of a new game or a new PC if the old one has failed. Our goal is to satisfy our talents while also building a good relationship with our clients through these deals.

Can i cancel the contract at any time? How does it look like?

Yes, our contract can be terminated at any time. We do not believe in holding someone against their will or insisting on a contract term. If a talent no longer feels comfortable, they can choose a new agency at any time. The contract is only necessary to provide evidence of the collaboration to authorities and for legal purposes, as well as to establish our general terms (e.g., percentage share). It’s also important to note that you can continue to independently handle clients from before our contract without having to give up a share.

How do Workshops look like?

Each quarter, we schedule a 1-on-1 with our talents to analyze the current development of their channel and develop measures to further increase their reach. It’s important to mention that we only provide advice, and creators decide for themselves what to implement. We do not impose any directives! Apart from the 1-on-1s, we are available daily for any questions, regularly check in on live streams, and provide feedback if we notice anything. Additionally, we stay updated on current algorithms and seek advice to share knowledge through workshops and posts. We also assist with self-employment and finances and/or refer to experts for specialized consultations.

What are the services you offer related to fairs / events?

Where possible, we obtain tickets for our talents through accreditations for trade shows and events, so they can attend with creator, press, or VIP access. Additionally, we actively look for opportunities for creators to earn money on-site through collaborations with exhibitors. We do not cover hotel and travel expenses, but we try to offset these costs through placements with local clients or incorporate them into the pricing if a booking occurs.

Do I have a contact person, and what is the availability?

You have a personal contact person whom you can reach anytime via Discord, WhatsApp, or phone. We are available 7 days a week, including holidays. Depending on the workload and priority of your request, we will try to assist you as quickly as possible. You can also inform us about any preferred partners at any time. Since we aim to build a close, positive, and personal relationship with our talents, we will be in regular contact anyway.
